Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Gas Engineering & ACS Assessor/Tutor to join our team and play a key role in delivering high-quality education and training on the Blueflame Managed Learning Programme and City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Gas Engineering course. The successful candidate will have a strong background in gas engineering and will be responsible for assessing and teaching students in various aspects of gas engineering, ensuring they meet industry standards and regulations. Instruction and Training: Deliver engaging and informative training sessions to students, covering topics such as gas safety, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development and improvement of the Gas Engineering course curriculum to ensure its relevance and alignment with industry requirements. Individualised Support: Provide individualised support and guidance to students, addressing their specific learning needs and helping them achieve their educational goals. Safety Compliance: Emphasise the importance of safety in gas engineering work and ensure that students are well-versed in safety protocols and best practices. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, assessment results, and attendance. Stay Informed: Stay current with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes in the gas engineering field to provide the most relevant education. Student Feedback: Collect and provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their skills and knowledge. Qualifications: Level 3 Diploma in Gas Engineering or equivalent qualification. Gas Safe Registration (or equivalent certification). Proven experience as a gas engineer in the industry. Previous experience in teaching, training, or assessing in a similar educational setting is desirable. Excellent knowledge of gas engineering regulations and safety standards.
