Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Operations Manager plays an integral role within the Senior Leadership Team and is responsible for managing production operations (Manufacturing, Supply chain, Sub-Contract, Quality & Planning) at one of our sites, along with contributing to the achievement of organisational objectives.
This role is responsible for implementing the correct processes and practices within their teams, to deliver the successful delivery of projects to required timescales & standards, improving process and productivity, whilst working with the client/customer to deliver their programme requirements.

Plan and organise production schedules, assess project and resource requirements to ensure production teams have the right instructions, materials, equipment and information to do their jobs efficiently and to the correct specification for all projects.
Account management of customers to ensure that your teams have a full understanding of their requirements.
Continually assess production methods, processes and materials to improve productivity, implement new processes to improve production rates, lower cost and improve quality.
Report at Production, Project and Client meetings.
Ensure ongoing compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations within the manufacturing facility.
Manage facilities and coordinate maintenance activities.
P&L responsibility and ownership of the financial performance of the business unit.
Setting financial budgets for the year and reporting results to management on Actual V Budget.
Presentation of results and budgets to financial providers.
Continuous improvement of dashboard to ensure successful reporting to management and financial providers.
Review of all T & C’s and contract reviews.
Expertise in managing day-to-day manufacturing operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety.
Ability to identify inefficiencies and implement cost-saving strategies while maintaining product quality.
Strong understanding of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and the ability to drive operational metrics to meet organisational goals.
Strong analytical skills to assess performance data and implement corrective actions.
Ability to make data-driven decisions and manage projects with an eye on both short-term and long-term objectives.
Basic CAD (RHINO).
Microsoft Office Skills (Word / Excel) and MS Project.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to changing business needs.
