Our client is looking for a Sales Account Manager to join an existing team of 6 people. The role is supporting the designated area of the UK with current customers as well as having a proactive approach to generating new business.
You will be working with a stable team who have a wealth of experience always willing to support you in your new role. This vacancy is due to internal movement in the team.
Duties include:
1. Proactive outbound calls to existing businesses
2. Supporting the Area Sales Manager and the Business Development Manager with both existing and onboarding new customers.
3. Generating new business opportunities
4. Logging, tracking, and maintaining outbound activity via Salesforce.
5. Attending sales meetings, sales training, and potentially local trade shows/road shows
6. Cross-selling products to drive profit at the point of sale.
7. Maintaining market & competitor knowledge.
Experience required:
1. Proven experience in a sales or account management role
2. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
3. Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM software
4. Effective IT skills
Hours of work:
1. 9:00am – 5:00pm or 8:30am – 5:00pm
Package:
1. £28,000 Basic + Monthly and Annual Bonus Scheme
2. Hybrid Working (3 days Office Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday)
