Join Our Team as a Lead Security Officer Location: Clitheroe Hours: 42 hours per week (4 Days on, 4 Off or 4 Nights on, 4 Off) We are seeking an experienced and professional Lead Security Officer to join our team in Clitheroe. If you have a minimum of 2 years’ security experience and hold a valid SIA licence, along with a driving licence and access to your own vehicle, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. Key Responsibilities: Maintain the security and integrity of the site through regular foot patrols, access control, and identification checks. Perform locking and unlocking duties, respond to emergencies, and ensure accurate completion of reports and paperwork. Act as a key member of the security team, reporting to the Security Supervisor and handling a variety of duties as required. Work in a customer-facing environment, handling situations with politeness, tact, and discretion. Monitor and maintain knowledge of Security and Fire Safety systems and procedures. Skills and Qualifications: SIA licence required. 2 years of security experience (desirable but not essential). Valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with clients, colleagues, and the public. Physically fit to carry out extended foot patrols and security duties in all weather conditions. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, while maintaining high standards of professionalism. Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to handle situations calmly under pressure. Competent in using basic computer software (e.g., Word, Excel, Email) and able to learn new tools. Good eyesight with normal colour vision for identifying safety signage and other site markings.
