Operation Coordinator - Reconciliation Milton Keynes: £24,000 to £25,000 per year Hybrid off peak and Onsite during peak periods Can you find a needle in a haystack? Working in an overall team of 9 you will be a key member of a project team that ensures every candidate's exam material is accounted for, distributed and marked. You will work in a data driven environment where your inquisitive, curious and solution focused attitude will be key to the success of this role. This is your opportunity to develop and increase your knowledge of technical tools such as Power BI, Excel Macros, VBA and Access which you will use to proactively manage script (exam paper/ material) investigations to minimise customer queries. You do not need to have used all of these tools before and this will be a real opportunity for learning, personal growth and development. Supporting the Script Investigation and Reconciliation Managers and the wider team in gathering of requirements, set up, delivery and lessons learned of all series script reconciliation activity. Your constant focus on continuous improvement as well as the preparation of any necessary supporting materials such as training collateral and quality assurance checklists will ensure exceptional levels of accuracy. What will you do You will ensure you are equipped to answer all internal process queries through the training you receive in your first few weeks. Be responsible for a range of data driven tasks that ensure that the electronic data associated to a physical script (exam paper) reconciles accurately so that each candidate gets the right result. Achieve high quality standards, maintaining agreed productivity schedules and contribute to process improvement. Take responsibility for supervising a team of temporary workers across a day shift during the peak summer series What's in it for you? During Summer our department gets increasingly busier, as you can imagine, with exams being undertaken across the whole country. With this in mind you will increase your responsibility to include supervising and mentoring temporary staff to assist with the increased workload. Your normal working hours will be 0900 to 1630 Monday to Friday on a 35 hour week on a smart hybrid basis. For mid-May, June, July and the first two weeks of August your role will be conducted fully onsite during peak series, whilst working from home off peak and will require working on specific Saturdays. Any work undertaken outside of your normal working week will be subject to overtime, ensuring you are financially compensated during this short peak period. What next?
