This role will be based in their South Manchester office, supporting new and existing project opportunities with a focus on plant layout and piping design.
Key Responsibilities:
Developing plant layout and piping design to support new project opportunities
Utilising Aveva E3D Modelling; knowledge of E3D Draw is advantageous
Employing laser scan point cloud data for design accuracy
Using AutoCAD for Plot Plans and Navisworks for model reviews
Designing all aspects of piping, including large bore and detailed design for gas plants
Adhering to B31.3 and current piping design practices
Understanding and addressing safety and constructability issues in designs
Designing and modelling pipe supports using stress engineers' outputs
Participating in client model reviews
Conducting brownfield modifications and occasional site visits (CSCS or CCNSG card required)
Job Requirements:
Proficient in piping design, particularly in the oil and gas sector
Fully conversant with Aveva E3D Modelling
Experience with E3D Draw is beneficial but not essential
Knowledge of using laser scan point cloud data
Skilled in using AutoCAD and Navisworks
Familiar with B31.3 and current piping design practices
Strong understanding of safety and constructability issues
Ability to design and model pipe supports
Experience with pipelines and Above Ground Installations (AGIs) is advantageous
