We are seeking an innovative, results-oriented Marketing Operations Manager to play a pivotal role in orchestrating and optimizing our paid media efforts across Prime Video Europe. You will be responsible for overseeing processes, implementing strategies, and ensuring alignment across various marketing functions to drive efficiency, scalability, and standardisation for our paid media function. You'll own the Smartsheet instances for PV EU's suite of products, overseeing the maintenance and optimization of Smartsheet configurations, integrations, and reporting. You'll work with cross-functional teams on Resourcing, Production and Analytics workflows and build a future-proof process and tooling architecture for paid media. Your goals will be to deliver time-savings, reduce costs and develop mechanisms that facilitate high-speed business decision-making. Your work will lay the foundation to deliver outstanding paid media campaigns to customers at scale. To be successful in this role, you have a background in ATL media, media operations or large scale performance marketing, and apply this to develop processes and tooling that turn complex workflows into a simple, delightful customer experience. You have a mix of strategic vision and hands-on project management skills, and are comfortable embracing ambiguity. Your ability to quickly understand the business context and priorities, together with your analytical, creative and problem-solving mind, will lead you to deliver against tangible business metrics. You have excellent written & verbal communication skills and are able to juggle multiple priorities at the same time. You are able to work autonomously, adept at building positive relationships across a wide range of teams, functions and locations, and have demonstrable experience in stakeholder engagement. Key job responsibilities - Process optimization: Design, implement, and refine marketing processes, workflows, and systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Evaluate existing tools and technologies to ensure optimal utilization and Return on Investment (ROI). - Automate: Identify opportunities to standardise, off-shore or automate tasks to save time and eliminate painpoints. - Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with marketing, production, business intelligence (BI), finance, and other teams to ensure alignment, streamline processes, and drive results. - Technology implementation: Evaluate, recommend, and implement marketing technologies and automation tools to enhance operational efficiency and enable marketing success. A day in the life You start your day in a stand-up to check on ongoing workflow optimization initiatives with the agency. Over coffee you quickly unblock a team member who's facing a challenge with Smartsheet, before jumping on a meeting with the broader European media team to discuss upcoming portfolio plans, identify areas to lean in, and get aligned on resources. Throughout the day, you are in constant communication with stakeholders - providing updates to senior leadership, meeting with our BI analysts, or working side-by-side with the production team to seamlessly integrate processes. In the afternoon, you map out the future roadmap for our paid media tech stack, envisioning how we continue to drive efficiency, flexibility and speed-to-market through the right processes and tools. About the team As part of Prime Video's global marketing organization, our team is responsible for booking all ATL media across 15 European countries. Based in the UK, Germany, France, Italy, and Spain, we work closely with an agency of record that executes our media plans. Our diverse, multinational group brings deep expertise in media planning, buying, and data analysis. The media operations team supports processes, tooling and data to allow us to oversee a complex web of campaigns, data flows, and vendor relationships at scale. All aimed at driving measurable impact for the Prime Video brand. Basic Qualifications - Experience in marketing or marketing research - Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs - Experience communicating results to senior leadership - Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements - Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data - Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership Preferred Qualifications - A solid understanding of strategy, planning, execution, and reporting of ATL media activities, as well as managing a campaign portfolio - Media experience in TV & Film, Entertainment, or similar background - Prior experience in either media agency, management consulting or in-house operations - Experience working with a fast-paced and geographically-dispersed organization - Fluency in an additional European language - Smartsheet Certified - Basic SQL skills Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
