Responsibilities:
* Technical Expertise: Identify and solve engineering challenges across various projects, including roads, drainage, and more.
* Compliance: Ensure projects adhere to design standards and regulations.
* Collaboration: Maintain strong relationships with site teams, acting as their technical liaison.
* Documentation: Prepare and deliver essential project documentation, such as RAMS and temporary traffic management schemes.
* Stakeholder Management: Collaborate effectively with clients, consultant engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
* Project Oversight: Attend meetings, conduct site visits, and monitor project progress.
* Commercial Support: Assist the commercial team with complex tender opportunities.
Qualifications:
* Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices.
* Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Adaptability: Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Technical Proficiency: Competence in relevant software (e.g. AutoCAD, Project, MS Office).
* Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field (preferred but not essential).
