HGV Service Advisor

Our client, the largest privately owned well-known brand truck dealership in the UK, is seeking a HGV Service Advisor to join their team.
The ideal candidate will be providing a courteous and efficient reception service ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction at all times. You will be responsible for R2C, truck service scheduling, and MOT bookings in line with manufacturer's guidelines and recommendations.
Role: HGV Service Advisor
Hours: Monday - Friday 08:30 - 17:30, Alternate Saturdays - 8 hours overtime per month
Location: Sheffield
Key Responsibilities:
1. Act as the first point of contact for customers bringing in HGVs for service or repairs.
2. Answer customer queries regarding service status, vehicle issues, and maintenance requirements.
3. Provide estimates for repair or service costs, timelines, and any additional work needed.
4. Schedule vehicle service appointments based on customer availability and workshop capacity.
Requirements:
1. Experience of working in a similar environment with excellent customer skills.
2. Good experience in a service industry dealing with customers via various methods.
3. Knowledge of working with databases.
4. Excellent time management, organisational, and IT skills.
5. Attention to detail and accuracy is paramount.
6. Technical background desirable.
