Randstad Education is seeking applications from exceptional, inspiring, and highly driven mainstream teachers to fill the position of Teacher of History. The chosen applicant will be in charge of developing and implementing the curriculum and will share accountability for ensuring that students receive the best education possible overall.

Requirements
* Relevant degree, along with a UK PGCE or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - this is essential.
* Eligibility to work in the UK is essential

* Minimum of 3 Months teaching experience in the UK.

Responsibilities
* Plan and prepare well-structured, clearly presented lessons appropriate to the abilities of all students and the syllabus being taught
* Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to accommodate diverse learning needs and engage students.
* Generate enthusiasm for the subject being taught and inspire all students to work to their potential
* Provide effective feedback to further student learning, instigating reteaching strategies when required
* Analyse and interpret historical data and use it to draw conclusions, make predictions, and inform organisational decisions.
* Organise and maintain records and collections of historical documents, artefacts, and other materials, ensuring their preservation and accessibility.
* Develop educational and outreach programs for students, visitors, etc to engage them in the study of history and the importance of preserving historical records.
