We are seeking a Purchasing Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in managing supplier relationships, optimizing the purchasing process, and providing critical operational reporting to ensure smooth business operations. If you are detail-oriented, enjoy working with cross-functional teams, and have a strong background in procurement, wed love to hear from you Responsible for the purchasing process of goods and services for our Northampton site, you will be managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts and ensuring the timely procurement of stock while working to budgets and SLA. Key Responsibilities: Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery capabilities. Negotiate and manage supplier contracts and agreements. Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as necessary. Collaborate with internal departments to forecast procurement needs and ensure timely delivery. Support the improvement or procurement processes Maintain accurate records of purchases, prices, and supplier information. Resolve issues related to orders, deliveries, and discrepancies. Support the improvement or procurement processes as well as ensure compliance with company procurement policies and industry regulations. Prepare and manage procurement reports as required. Requirements: Proven experience as a Purchasing Officer, Procurement Specialist, or similar role. Strong knowledge of supply chain and procurement processes. Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software.
