About the Position: Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a dynamic educational environment in Tiverton. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing essential academic and social support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing personalized support to students with SEN, both individually and in small groups.
* Assisting in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies.
* Fostering independence and building confidence among students.
* Collaborating closely with teachers and fellow support staff to maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working with children or young adults with SEN, ideally in educational or care settings.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging and motivating students.
* Patience, empathy, and a sincere enthusiasm for nurturing young people's development.
