At LEE Ventus, our world-class micropump technology delivers precision, performance, and silent operation – all in a tiny package. We have hundreds of new customers evaluating our technology and our order book is growing fast. Following our acquisition by The Lee Company, our focus is on scaling our manufacturing operation to meet rapidly growing demand.
Our micropumps enable truly cutting-edge innovation across the medical, life science, environmental and industrial sectors. They’re already used in an extraordinary range of inventions – such as a breathalyser that will test for cancer, a novel treatment for sleep apnoea, and a hospital-grade vital signs monitor. The potential for our technology is huge. So, your work will have a genuine and meaningful impact.
The Role
As part of LEE Ventus’ Quality team, this is an opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of a high-value manufacturing business. You will be responsible for coordinating investigations and improvements in conjunction with the Production and Manufacturing Engineering teams. You will ensure that we control and monitor quality, tracking any issues and driving continual improvement in our activities.
Working within the Quality team you will play an integral role for ensuring product quality, and act as a key point of contact for manufacturing issues. You will have responsibilities in supplier quality assurance, monitoring supplier performance, conducting supplier evaluations and facilitating supplier part approvals.
You will take an active role in maintaining our document management system including the creation and update of process and procedure documentation. As our business continues to grow you will contribute to ongoing efforts to improve and develop our QMS.
LEE Ventus is a young business. Whilst our QMS is well established and certificated, it (like us) is evolving fast. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will have a keen attention to detail and process, but also be able to work flexibly and pragmatically. You will be comfortable as part of a small, dynamic team, also demonstrating self-motivation and the ability to work independently when required. We value individuals who are prepared to roll up their sleeves and get the job done.
