An excellent Primary School in Bristol is currently recruiting for a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant to start ASAP. This is a great opportunity for a graduate or an experienced teaching assistant to build on their experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and behavioural challenges. A degree (graded 2:2 or above) is preferred, and previous experience supporting SEN children is desirable. In this role, you will work 1:1 with students who have special needs and challenging behaviour, including children with Autism, mental health difficulties, and other learning disabilities.

Sector: Education and TrainingThe school is looking for a confident, dedicated, and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who is passionate about contributing to children's education. The ideal candidate will have strong behaviour management skills, and restraint training is desirable but not essential.
This position offers a fantastic platform for aspiring teachers, as it provides valuable classroom experience before pursuing formal teaching qualifications. Experience in youth work, support roles, or mental health would be beneficial.
