Building Physics Engineer Ref:BM457 This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the North Wests leading multidisciplined building services consultancy who are taking on numerous projects that vary in size and sector. They are on the lookout for an experienced Building Physics Engineer to join their Sustainability team based in their Denton offices. Key responsibilities for a Building Physics engineer will include: Produce general energy and sustainability strategies and reports for clients to minimise the environmental impact of their projects Use IES-VE software to carry out overheating assessments, operational energy analysis, and daylight calculations Produce EPCs and SAP assessments for non-domestic and commercial projects Provide building energy consumption and embodied carbon advice across all stages of the design development process The ideal Building Physics Engineer will have: A minimum of 2 years' experience in a Building Physics Engineer role Relevant degree within a sustainability, energy, architecture, or engineering discipline Working experience with IES-VE software when carrying out overheating and operational energy analysis Good knowledge of UK Building Regulations such as Part L and Part O Strong attention to detail and a "can do" attitude Benefits of the role include: Competitive salary starting at £35,000 Hybrid working Professional training and subscriptions provided 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays Private healthcare If This role interests you or if you are interested in searching for other roles relating to sustainability please feel free to contact Ben Moore on or email.
