Croydon High School is looking for an experienced IT professional to play a key role in managing, installing and maintaining the Schools ICT systems and infrastructure. As the IT Operations and Development Manager, you will lead a team of technical staff to provide a high quality and professional IT service to users across the school, delivering day-to-day IT support from our in-house IT helpdesk. You will ensure the School's ICT systems are developed in accordance to teaching and learning requirements and will also assume responsibility for the development and delivery of the Schools IT strategy. You will be a strong communicator with excellent customer service skills, who is capable of thinking strategically and analytically. You will possess an MCSA / MCSE / ITIL foundation level or an equivalent qualification, along with a strong technical IT background. You will also possess knowledge and experience of: Server and network infrastructure Designing ICT systems Managing third party service providers Diagnosing and resolving technical errors Implementing technical solutions Managing a technical team An understanding of ICT hardware and software is essential, along with knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and server operating systems.
