Be part of the family...
We’re a family business through and through – family owned, family run, with a warm family welcome for guests and team alike. Our seven hotels are unique and set in three stunning Scottish locations. Some are big, some are small but all offer good food & drink, great beds and a ton of things to do.
Crieff Hydro Hotel
Pretty much in the centre of Scotland, we’re set in a 900-acre estate in stunning Perthshire. Home from home, we’ve been welcoming generations of families for 150 years. We have 215 hotel bedrooms, 55 self-catering lodges, six restaurants and over 60 onsite activities – there really is something for everyone!
About the role
With the best views on the estate and only a 20-minute walk from the hotel, our food concept is simple but wholesome at Basecamp. The Clubhouse has 40 seats and an outdoor seating area which is brilliant for BBQs on sunny days.
With a range of contracts available for this role, it would suit school leavers, students, or individuals wanting a full-time hospitality job with sociable hours. At Basecamp, the typical shifts are between the hours of 08:30 and 17:00.
Working as part of our food and beverage team offers you a friendly, fast-paced environment. Basecamp is a great chance to get all the benefits of working within a large independent company, whilst working in a smaller outlet. You will be a memory maker for all of our guests and you will learn and develop with some truly motivated and enthusiastic people.
Exceptional customer service is at the heart of our business, so your friendly, welcoming personality is a given. We are looking for someone who is sociable and approachable that delivers service with a genuine smile. It is great if you have some previous hospitality, barista, and/or waiting experience but full training will be provided - your attitude and personality will really count.
What we need for you
* Willingness – a desire to learn and work in hospitality
* Team focus – there are no egos here, just hard-working people who love creating memorable experiences for every guest
* Ideas and openness – we’re up for doing things differently and will try (almost) everything once
* Fun and easy to talk to – we’re looking for personality, not a corporate clone
* Flexibility – there’s no problem you can’t fix
What you’ll get from us
* The opportunity to work in a friendly, forward-thinking company with development as a priority.
* Internal career opportunities among a wide range of roles, departments, and branches.
* Opportunities to apply for our Be A Leader development program.
* Unique benefits including pension contributions, recommend a friend initiative, and our cycle to work scheme, allowing you to buy a bike tax-free.
* Discounts on leisure memberships, hotel activities, retail, and food and beverages.
* Team Rate rooms at all of our hotels – where will you choose to explore on your days off?
* Live-in accommodation is available and is inclusive of bills.
We are open to having a conversation with you around flexible working, both full-time and part-time, to work together and establish the hours that best suit you.
Please note, this opportunity does not qualify for sponsorship. To be considered for this role you should already have a right to work in the UK.
