Base: Will be determined on appointment but agile working arrangements are in place.

Careers Wales are looking for an experienced Business Intelligence and Data Engineering specialist. In the role of System Developer you will be responsible for managing and optimising our Microsoft Dynamics platform, developing and maintaining the data warehouse, creating data models and engineering data solutions to drive business insights. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, enhance data-driven decision-making, and support our organisation’s strategic goals.
The successful candidate will be a graduate (or equivalent standard) or have experience, in a relevant discipline e.g. IT systems development (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics), data warehousing, data modelling and data engineering.
The successful candidate will have:
* Practical and demonstrable experience and knowledge in some or all of the following areas:
* Implementation and optimisation of Customer Relationship Management Systems.
* In-depth knowledge of data warehousing, data engineering and ETL processes.
* Designing and implementing data models for business insight.
* Technical skills in relevant data technologies for example SQL, Javascript, Python, Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Dynamics, Azure Data Factory or related technologies.
They will also have:
* The ability to contribute effectively as a member of a Company-wide team.
* The ability to contribute to the implementation of the organisation’s policies.
* The ability to create communications appropriate for the audience.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* The ability to prioritise and keep to tight deadlines.
* Prepared to undertake duties outside normal working hours.
