About the Role: :
Day to day you’ll manage daily cash management and cash forecasting ensuring sufficient global liquidity, variance analysis and reporting. You will ensure the most efficient cash structures are set up with Group clearers so funds can flow round the Group as required. You will manage the investing of excess funds, identify new investment products in line with policy and liaise with banks and internal stakeholders. Manage working capital facilities, monitoring headroom and looking for products to add to the portfolio. You will be a key stakeholder in the production of long term and short-term cash forecasting and liaise with stakeholders around the business.
You’ll drive forward the review of current processes and systems to optimise and automate where possible in preparation to support Group growth and an increase in complexity. The identification, management, and documentation of risks within this role is key to ensure robust Treasury operations. You will lead and support on projects round the business and Treasury projects, driving forward the wider Treasury ethos, operational excellence and effective risk management.
Who we’re looking for:
You’ll have an accounting or treasury qualification preferably (AMCT, CIMA, ACA, ACCA) and extensive experience working in a treasury role across all areas of Corporate Treasury. You’ll have a thorough understanding of financial accounting principles, excellent analytical capabilities and an ability to problem solve complex issues and identify their wider impacts.
You’ll have excellent written and verbal communication with high levels of attention to detail and organisational skills and can effectively prioritise and self-motivate within a busy department. Stakeholder management will be crucial alongside the ability to deal effectively with others in a diverse environment. As it’s a key requirement of the role, you’ll demonstrate the ability to work across functions and geographies – a strong background in a multi-unit organization is beneficial.
