We are seeking a dedicated Deputy Manager for our Care Home.
This is a large luxury residential care home that specializes in long-term accommodation for adults with dementia and residential care.
This role is pivotal for the home, supporting the Manager in this service.
Responsibilities for our Deputy Manager:
1. Deputising for the Home Manager in their absence, assisting in the day-to-day operations and management of the supported accommodation service.
2. Provide supervision, guidance, training, and support to staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and support services.
3. Collaborate with partner agencies and professionals to enhance the well-being of young residents.
4. Contribute to the development and implementation of support plans tailored to individual needs.
5. Oversee the effective operation of the provision, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for residents.
6. Conduct regular file audits to ensure high-quality record keeping, celebrating and building upon good practice, identifying training needs and following up on actions required.
7. Providing scheduled out-of-hours on-call support as part of the management rota.
Requirements for our Deputy Manager:
1. Relevant experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a similar setting.
2. Experience working with elderly residents.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with residents and stakeholders.
4. Ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment.
