Job Requirements: This is primarily a specialist role that requires someone to work, over a prolonged period of time with specific students, and if appropriate, small groups, in an attempt to support them with strategies that will help them to cope in difficult situations. These strategies would also support students both in and outside of school.Establish good relationships with students, acting as a role model and providing specific support in a range of subjectsCommunication with SLT, teachers and TAs on specific students and situationsCommunication with parents/carers as and when neededMaintaining a safe and positive environment for all studentsCreating opportunities for all students to reach their potential, irrespective of abilityPossibility to train to become a Deputy DSL and be a part of the safeguarding teamThe Right Candidate Will Have:
