About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our team on a relief basis, covering annual leave and other absences. We support a large number of young people aged between 16 and 36, with complex sensory, physical and emotional needs, making our setting truly unique and rewarding. The role is based on so much more than clinical skills and offers a range of personal development.
The Nurse role plays an essential role within our onsite health team that work collaboratively with our care, education, and therapy teams. You will be responsible for promoting the health and wellbeing of our young people, and delivering a high-quality health care service, with a positive focus on empowering our young people to self-advocate and self-manage their own health conditions. The role will require you to implement health initiatives and promote safe practice across the site.
About you
We want someone who is enthusiastic and will advocate for the highest standard of care for our young people, using evidenced based practice. The successful person needs to have a passion for their own learning and development, with a desire to share their skills and experience to train our support staff to ensure the delivery of safe, person-centred health care.
Working pattern
As and when agreed by you and the line manager
Shifts are a combination of early (7am until 3.30pm), late (2pm until 11pm) and weekend shifts.
