Salary: £28,838 per annum
Position: Full-Time position which includes a mixture of shift patterns, including early, late and weekends.
Location: Filey and Whitby
Driving Requirement: A full UK driving licence and access to a car is essential.
About The Role:
As an Assistant Manager, you will work closely with the Service Manager to oversee the daily operations of both services. You will be responsible for supporting and mentoring staff, ensuring that the individuals we support receive exceptional care tailored to their needs. Your role will be key in promoting independence, inclusion, and community engagement while maintaining compliance with all regulatory and contractual requirements.
You will also play an active part in service development, championing digital innovation, and ensuring that our teams are continuously improving and working towards delivering outstanding care.
What We're Looking For:
We are seeking a dedicated and values-driven leader who is passionate about supporting individuals to live extraordinary lives. The ideal candidate will have:
* NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards Level 3 within 18 months).
* Experience in social care, particularly working with individuals with disabilities.
* Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
* A proactive and solution-focused approach, with excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
* A solid understanding of care planning, safeguarding, and compliance within the sector.
* Confidence in using digital tools and a willingness to drive innovation in care practices.
