Humanities Teacher
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Humanities Teacher to join the team at a client Secondary School in Bradford.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a range of humanities subjects, including but not limited to history, geography, and religious studies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the national curriculum and possess the ability to engage and inspire students in their learning.
Applicants should be able to start from January and be able to work full-time until the end of the academic year (July 2025).
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in humanities subjects to students across different year groups.
2. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
3. Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
4. Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and initiatives.
5. Participate in departmental meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and school events as required.
Qualifications and Requirements:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
2. A degree in a relevant humanities subject or related field.
3. Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the national curriculum for humanities subjects.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
