What to expect As an Aircraft Production Project Manager, you will work with the Production Leader in running prototype aircraft production & maintenance activities, increasing efficiency and reducing delays. You will act to support and facilitate the Senior Aircraft Technicians in controlling the near-term workload of the technician workforce whilst ensuring timely work documentation conformance. You will also work towards preparing an optimum schedule and process set for the build of multiple certification programme aircraft What you'll do Working with Senior Aircraft Build Technicians to ensure allocation of near-term technician workload in line with approved work schedule. Liaise with stores & logistics dept to arrange the timely delivery of applicable part kits to complete tasks in line with approved work schedule. Work with Production Leader in re-scheduling of workflow due to emerging work. Ensure aircraft documentation is completed correctly in a timely manner and rectify or report non-conformances as required. Identify any blockers to the programme timeline across all elements of aircraft production, rectify or escalate as required. Work with Production Leader to develop load and capacity planning to ensure appropriate capacity is in place to support the Aircraft Production Programme requirements. Assist with identification and implementation of process improvement opportunities. What you'll bring Will be an experienced in aircraft production activities with programme/project management knowledge and sound personal standard practices. Should have good attention to detail and can operate to challenging deadlines without compromising standards or quality. Can work autonomously, identifying process improvements and implementing them with minimal oversight Should demonstrate a flexible and proactive attitude to carrying out responsibilities and always willing to lend a hand where needed throughout the business and across different teams Would benefit from having an excellent working knowledge of aircraft production and/or maintenance including documentation & manuals. Given the challenging nature of this opportunity, it will be important that they are able to work well in a growing team and demonstrate initiative to resolve unique problems whilst operating in a fast paced and ever-changing environment.
