TRS Staffing currently have a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Senior Procurement Manager to join a leading Major Tier 1 contractor to assist with various packages across rail projects on a permanent basis. This position will offer a competitive salary package with hybrid working opportunities based in London. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and be accountable for the procurement of subcontractors, materials, plant, and services, aligning with the project procurement strategy and commitments. Provide management information and reports as required by the project. Establish and maintain effective relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and service providers to ensure best value for the project. Implement and manage procurement strategies and project procurement objectives. Assist with tendering, supplier selection, market analysis, and risk assessments. Deliver market intelligence, cost advice, and manage supply chain performance and feedback. About you: Proven experience of working within complex procurement processes within in construction and major projects Demonstrates the ability to manage, plan and structure operational procurement resources of mixed experience and capability Knowledge of sub-contract procurement, legal/contracting law, risk and opportunity management Degree/equivalent qualification, CIPS or MCIPS qualified would be desirable
