One of our clients, a reputable name in the buy-side space, is looking to hire an Application Support Team Lead to provide technical support on several in-house built applications and investment vendor platforms across a fast-paced and demanding user base.
This role is a mixture of hands-on support, project delivery and team leadership. You will be expected to actively support and run major incidents as and when they occur as well as play an influential role when it comes to strategic project work that focuses on improving process and efficiency.
You will be the main point of contact for escalation points of any major issues and own the incident management process (proactively and methodically managing communications and resolutions).
To be right for this role, you must have a background in the following:
* Application Support experience across both in-house built (ideally C# .Net) trading systems and vendor applications.
* Team leadership experience – the ability to people manage in a hands-on capacity.
* Strong incident management practices – a proven track record of managing major technical incidents in a trading/middle office environment.
* Good experience working with the likes of SQL, Powershell & Azure.
The company promotes a hybrid working environment and you will be expected to be in the London office Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday.
