Registered General Nurse Deputy Manager
I am recruiting for an experienced and quality focused Registered Nurse Deputy Manager for a fantastic Nursing Home for older people based in the Winchester area.
The home is a beautiful Medium sized home including many residents who have Dementia.
We are looking for a qualified Registered General Nurse who has prior management experience with CQC or an experienced Clinical Lead who is ready for the step up.
The Registered Nurse Deputy manager will be offered a fantastic package of £40,000 - £45,000
Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Home Manager in the day-to-day operations of the nursing home, ensuring high-quality care for all residents.

Lead and support the nursing and care team to deliver person-centered care that meets individual needs and preferences.
*
Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and oversee medication management in line with regulatory requirements.
*
Monitor compliance with CQC standards, policies, and procedures, ensuring best practices are followed at all times.
*
Provide mentorship and training to staff, promoting professional development and maintaining high standards of practice.
*
Act as a point of contact for residents, families, and external healthcare professionals, fostering positive relationships and open communication.
*
Support in recruitment, performance management, and staff development to maintain a skilled and engaged team.
*
Participate in audits, risk assessments, and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
*
Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with a valid NMC PIN.
*
QCF Level 5 Leadership and Management/Registered Managers Award/NVQ Level 4 Health and Social Care (Preferred)
*
Proven experience in a senior nursing or management role within a care home or similar healthcare setting.
*
Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
*
Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance standards.

Ability to lead by example and inspire a team to provide outstanding care.
