OUR TEAM
Our Explosive Ordnance Services (EOs) team enables the Australian Defence Force through storage, distribution, maintenance, and disposal of these systems, all across Australia. As a turnkey solution, we offer the opportunity to gain a holistic understanding of our business operations, creating huge opportunities for professional growth. YOUR ROLE
Based on the Edinburgh Parks site, on Kaurna land, your role purpose will be critical to our successful operations in the following ways:
We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Technical Officer to support the operations of the DWRF in Adelaide. The successful candidate will perform a variety of tasks related to logistics and operations, ensuring the safe handling, transportation, and accountability of project assets and explosive ordnance (EO). This role requires a high level of attention to detail and adherence to security protocols.
* Handle, transport, and account for project assets and explosives
* Maintain facility operations and equipment
* Provide technical support to stakeholders
* Conduct inventory assurance and stocktaking as well as facility inspections and vehicle checks
* Identify maintenance needs and take corrective action
YOUR EXPERIENCE
* Completed training/demonstrated competence Certificate IV in EO or the ability to obtain
* Strong knowledge in working with EO, including warehousing and transportation and packaging of EO
* Previous experience in facilities inspection as well as stock checks
* Current holder (or have held in the past) of a Defence Security Clearance of NV1 or above
