We are looking for a motivated and high-calibre Maintenance Facilities Engineer to join us at our London (West Thurrock) Site. As a Facilities engineer, you will be responsible for: The overall aim of the facilities engineer is to ensure that routine facility utility processes are carried out in the safest, most time-efficient and cost-effective way possible. Facilities Engineers achieve this through review and modification of existing processes, as well as design and implementation of new procedures or improvements. The Facilities Engineer will have direct responsibility for a range of facility infrastructure needs – such as Heating, Ventilation and AC, electrical engineering, mechanical plant, energy, maintenance, and civil engineering. Safety is a priority at P&G. You will be responsible for your personal safety as well as assisting where you can with the safety of other team members and contractors. This includes, ensuring all safety rules and safe work procedures are followed, reporting near misses, and maintaining housekeeping. As well as the day-to-day running of the facility, the Facilities Engineer will have budgetary responsibilities and duties around optimizing operational efficiency. The Facilities engineer will also be involved in the development of new facilities, planning and implementing the facility infrastructure and utility systems. This is day-based role, and you will be expected to work 40 hours per week. What we offer you: Competitive Salary: The starting salary for this is competitive. Have proven engineering experience in either process or a production environment in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods or similar industry. Have experience in the following; cost analysis, engineering principles, drawings and P&ID’s, project management, safety regulations and best practice, planning and monitoring. Have high level of accountability coupled with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence others. Are willing to suggest and implement changes that will improve systems, work processes and equipment reliability. Fluent ability to communicate in English.
