We are looking for a motivated and driven Business Development Manager to join our team in Bristol. This role requires a proactive and results-oriented individual who is passionate about driving growth and building relationships with new clients in the healthcare sector.
Job Overview:
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving new business, developing relationships with potential clients, and increasing Xpress Health’s market presence in Dorset. You will be on the road, visiting healthcare providers, discussing staffing needs, and promoting our services. This role involves both business acquisition and account management.
Candidates with a valid driving license are preferred, as the role involves frequent travel.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the healthcare sector across Bristol.
2. Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
3. Market Research: Conduct market research to identify potential clients, trends, and opportunities for growth.
4. Sales Presentations: Deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients, showcasing Xpress Health’s staffing services.
5. Negotiation: Negotiate terms and contracts with clients, ensuring mutual satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
6. Networking: Attend industry events, conferences, and networking meetings to increase brand visibility and expand the client base.
7. Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on sales performance, market trends, and business development activities.
8. Collaboration: Work closely with the recruitment team to ensure we meet client staffing requirements and exceed expectations.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within a service industry, ideally in healthcare or staffing.
2. Strong communication and negotiation skills.
3. Self-motivated and target-driven with a passion for achieving results.
4. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
5. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
6. A valid driving license and access to your own vehicle is preferred due to the travel requirements of the role.
7. Knowledge of the nursing and healthcare staffing industry is an advantage.
8. Experience in using CRM software or similar tools for lead tracking and reporting.
