A world-leading property company, which owns multi £bn in assets is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Estates Manager to join their team on a fixed-term contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the management and optimisation of a diverse property portfolio, contributing to the delivery of first-class service and maintaining operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the day-to-day management of a portfolio of properties, ensuring efficient operation, maintenance, and compliance.
2. Develop and implement effective strategies to manage property performance, including cost control and asset value enhancement.
3. Lead and manage a team of estates staff and contractors to deliver high-quality property management services.
4. Ensure adherence to all relevant legislation, health and safety standards, and company policies.
5. Provide regular reports to senior management, highlighting property performance, risks, and opportunities.
6. Liaise with tenants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure a seamless service experience.
Key Requirements:
1. Proven experience in property and estates management, ideally within a commercial real estate context.
2. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and external contractors effectively.
3. In-depth knowledge of property management best practices, legal compliance, and health and safety regulations.
4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
5. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
6. Relevant qualifications (e.g., MRICS, or equivalent) would be an advantage but not essential.
