Practice: Independent Small Animal Practice
* Veterinary Hospital offers comprehensive veterinary services for small animals and exotic pets in Stockton-on-Tees and surrounding areas.
The hospital specialises in a range of services, including:
* Preventative Healthcare: Annual vaccinations, bi-annual health examinations, flea and tick treatments, and quarterly worm prevention. They offer a Group Family Health Plan to provide cost-effective, lifelong preventative care.
* Exotic Pet Care: Specialised services for exotic pets, including birds and reptiles.
* Additional Services: Puppy and kitten packages, pet insurance guidance, end-of-life care, and emergency services.
The Role: A fantastic opportunity has become available to join a proudly independent veterinary practice in the beautiful North East. This well-established practice is seeking a full-time, enthusiastic, and dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to become part of its dynamic and supportive team.
Hours: Flexible working options, with both part-time and full-time positions available. Full-time would include working a 4-day working week with a fixed day off.
OOHs: No out-of-hours work required.
Branchwork: The practice currently operates across three branches, with a team consisting of six experienced vets and seven RVNs, alongside additional auxiliary staff. With plans for further expansion, they are eager to welcome the right candidate to help drive growth and development.
Support: The main hospital is RCVS accredited and fully equipped to support professional growth, offering an excellent environment for vets to develop their skills and excel in their chosen areas of interest. Additionally, as a host practice for Vets Now Emergency out-of-hours care, there are no OOH duties required.
Growth: This practice is deeply committed to supporting its team, providing full backing for advanced certificates and CPD.
