Due to our continued growth, we are looking to add to our Construction team with the role of Onsite Assessor. This position is based onsite with our clients and learners, with occasional work from our brand new Gateshead office.
Salary banding: £32,000-£40,000

Job Duties:
1. Carrying out assessment using a variety of different methods as part of the delivery, to ensure the successful outcome for the full achievement of the qualification in line with contractual requirements and targets.
2. Visiting learners in the workplace and delivering teaching & learning in line with the qualification requirements.
3. Producing monthly progress reports of learners within your caseload.
4. Attending and participating in standardisation as planned or required.
5. Taking responsibility for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all learners with whom you come into contact.
6. Completing all relevant funding documentation and administration tasks to meet compliance requirements.
7. Ensuring that all Equal Opportunities policies and Health & Safety requirements are complied with always, and ensuring all learners are given fair access to assessment.
You will need:
1. Experience of working in the Construction Industry across AT LEAST TWO trades for 2 years or more.
2. Experience assessing NVQs in Construction for 2 years or more.
3. Experience of teaching/training in a workplace environment.
4. Full UK driving licence and use of own car, prepared to travel.
5. Recognised NVQ Assessor Qualification.
6. Vocational qualification to at least NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.

3. Willingness to undertake a DBS Enhanced Disclosure check.
