Position: Full-Time SEN Primary Teacher
Location: Lancashire (Primary SEN School)
Pay: Dependent on Skills and Experience
Start Date: September 2025
We are currently seeking an experienced Primary SEN Teacher to join a dedicated and supportive team at a highly regarded Primary SEN School in Burnley. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of young learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

With a strong focus on individualised learning and holistic development, the school creates a positive and engaging environment for both staff and students.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with SEN.
2. Provide 1:1 and small group support to students.
3. Collaborate with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and other staff to create personalised learning plans.
4. Monitor and assess the progress of students, making adjustments to teaching strategies as necessary.
5. Support the social, emotional, and behavioural development of students.
6. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student can thrive.
What we’re looking for:
1. Qualified teacher status (QTS) and experience working in a primary school setting (SEN experience is desirable).
2. A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to teaching.
3. A passion for working with children with SEN and a commitment to making a difference.
4. A DBS check (or the willingness to undergo one).
