Job summary We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our DEXA team at The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidates to join our growing DEXA service at RJAH. RJAH is a lead provider for DEXA for a large catchment area and in Autumn/Winter 2024 our service will be expanding with an additional DEXA scanner giving the service two scanners. The Bone Densitometry Unit forms part of the Bone Health Service based at the Trust. The Unit specialises in the diagnosis and management of metabolic bone disorders and has particular interests in osteoporosis. We are looking for an experienced radiographer who has an interest in Metabolic Medicine or/and has experience in working in a DXA scanning service and will will be able to integrate into our motivated and hardworking team.. The successful applicants will undertake bone densitometry measurements as required by the named practitioners within the Trust, in line with departmental protocols.
