Were currently recruiting for an IT Support Officer (Service Delivery). Location: Bolton Salary: Grade 4 (£30,980 - £34,340) Basis: Full Time Contracted Hours: 36 Hours Package: Permanent Working Pattern: Monday - Friday Why is the role important? The role supports the delivery of operational IT services for the organisation. Key Outcomes Promote the safe and effective use of IT by developing user awareness and skills in the use of IT through formal training delivery, signposting to resources/self-help materials, IT surgeries, etc. Manage the transition from project status to live support for new systems and developments, in coordination with the Applications & Data Systems function. Contribute to the delivery of IT support services by responding to queries, performing updates to ensure compliance, and resolving issues. Whats involved? Respond to service desk referrals, escalating issues as necessary. Support the management and resolution of IT issues, standard service requests, change requests, and problem management in accordance with ITIL guidelines. Provide system support and daily administration on applications, including housing management, asset management, contractor management, scheduling, CRM, and EDRM systems. Operate the service desk ticketing systems, including raising, tracking, and closing tickets opened via any supported user channel. Provide technical fault fixing on non-managed service provider managed assets, such as tablets, laptops, mobile phones, etc. Coordinate IT system access and equipment setups for employees, third parties, and contractors, in accordance with organisational policies.
