It will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of IT from hardware and software installation to network management and cybersecurity.

What you’ll do at work
Key duties:
* Basic IT support
* New starter onboarding (including setting up accounts, laptops, pc’s and installation of equipment on desks)
* Ensure equipment is available for new starters
* Office 365 support
* Troubleshooting
* First point of call for IT issues
* Organising support for staff
* Problem researching
* Documentation
* Invoice checking
* License checking
* Email blocking

* Cresting a funnel system from issue to solution
* Being first to assess an issue and determine whose responsibility it would be
* Streamlining the IT Managers’ workload

* Interpret and prioritise internal or external customer's requirements in line with organisation's policy
* Apply the appropriate tools and techniques to undertake fault finding and rectification

* Use a range of Cabling or Connectors equipment in line with technical requirements for example physically or remotely
* Test and evaluate network environments
* Monitor performance and usage of a network
* Deploy applications on a network
* Set up storage and data access for staff
* Apply necessary security measures, in line with access requirements to a network
* Carry out routine maintenance across network systems, ensuring organisational compliance
* Monitor network-related workloads including DNS and firewalls
