What you’ll do:
Responsible for basic repairs, painting, and decoration services while providing excellent customer service.
Maintaining internal and external areas safely and within skill limits.
Keep waste collection points clean and promotes recycling of waste.
Assist site management by ensuring statutory compliance across the estate.
Comply with Quality Assurance and Health and Safety Procedures, adhering to industry best practices.
Engaging with subcontractors and maintain clean working conditions to minimize disruption.
Complete job sheets accurately and attend required training to uphold high service standards and customer satisfaction.
What you bring:
Experience in multi-site contracts with varied equipment specifications
Extensive DIY and decorating skills, including basic building maintenance tasks (e.g., door repairs, plaster patching, plumbing)
Clear communication skills are essential as students are currently occupying the rooms.
Proactive attitude with flexibility in duties and working hours
Strong organizational and time management skills
Takes pride in work and demonstrates commitment and reliability
Excellent timekeeping and attendance record
Highly experienced in general maintenance or caretaking background
Ability to work effectively without supervision
Experience in customer service and customer relationship management
IT literate, capable of using systems for data monitoring and management reporting
Safety-conscious with an understanding of technical risk assessments
Have a degree of flexibility to travel as and when required
