An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an ambitious and newly formed NHS Group, NHS Humber Health Partnership, the 12th largest acute and community provider in the NHS. With a budget of over £1.3 billion, Hull University Teaching Hospitals (HUTH) and Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust (NLaG) are united to ensure better care is provided to a population of over 1.5 million people.
We seek to appoint a team of Imaging Support Workers to support our Sonographers in providing patient-focused services as part of the Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust. This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape the future of our expanding ultrasound service.
This is an exciting opportunity for a care/support worker to join our small friendly team and support our patients and staff in purpose-built units.

You will be required to work alongside State Registered Practitioners and Medical Staff to promote good working practices and ensure good quality care is given to all patients accessing Diagnostics services.
The post holder will be responsible for maintaining the working environment within the Ultrasound Departments, giving direct clinical and clerical support to the Sonographers to enable the delivery of an efficient and effective service with a high standard of patient care. Our services are operational from 8am to 8pm, 7 days per week, and you will be required to work a shift rota which provides support throughout the working week. Typical shift patterns include 3 long days per week; however, consideration can be given to other working patterns in line with the needs of the service.
You will be required to take responsibility for some administrative duties as well as patient care, and as such, good communication skills along with a polite telephone manner, computer and database skills are required. You will work under direct and indirect supervision and will be required to follow instructions.
