E.ON is seeking an inspiring and dynamic leader to take on the role of Director of EIS UK Commercial, a key position within the EIS UK Executive Team. The Director of EIS UK Commercial holds full accountability for all commercial activities within EIS UK, playing a vital role in driving significant contracted profit and achieving EBITDA targets across all EIS UK functional businesses. This high-profile, board-level role requires a strategic, people-focused, and results-oriented approach to commercial success.

Due to the size and nature of this role, we are open to shaping the role differently based on the right candidate(s) skills and experience. This could mean the possibility of two roles. One role would focus on the B2B elements of the role and the other on the B2M requirements.
For this reason, we'd welcome applications from candidates who can thrive predominantly in either the B2B or the B2M space.
1. Extensive sales experience with industrial and commercial clients, a strong sales track record, and established C-suite relationships.
2. Proven ability to develop and lead partnerships with cities and key institutions, ideally with an existing network in target regions.
3. Expertise in strategic development, energy solutions, and market expansion, particularly in decarbonisation, fuel poverty alleviation, and social value delivery.
4. Strong leadership experience in fast-paced, front-office and technical environments, with a focus on HSSE and engineering teams.
5. Leading the development of internal UK and international Group relationships and with external delivery partners and clients where appropriate.
6. Experience in managing the delivery of a portfolio of projects/contracts whilst balancing multiple senior stakeholders both internally and externally.
7. Willingness to travel extensively across the UK (3-5 days per week) and internationally (1-2 times per month), with regular evening engagements.
