You will provide exceptional guidance to students with behavioural needs, empowering them to overcome challenges and reach their full potential through personalised and compassionate care.

Responsibilities of the Behaviour Support Worker:
1. Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with behavioural challenges, fostering positive behaviour and engagement in learning.
2. Implement behaviour management strategies and Individual Behaviour Plans (IBPs) tailored to the specific needs of each student.
3. Collaborate with teachers and support staff to create an inclusive and structured classroom environment.
4. Monitor and record student progress, offering feedback to teachers and parents to support ongoing development.
5. Build strong relationships with students, promoting their social, emotional, and academic growth.
Requirements of the Behaviour Support Worker:
1. Previous experience working with students with behavioural challenges or relevant training in behaviour management is preferred.
2. A compassionate and patient approach, with a genuine passion for helping students overcome barriers to learning.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students and collaborate with colleagues.
4. Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the diverse needs of students in a dynamic school setting.
5. Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to supporting all students.
6. Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
