Context:
The IT, Data and Cyber Security function is a critical enabler for the MBNL business. Acting as a centre of excellence providing services to the business, the function is accountable for translating the business strategy into solutions to improve service, efficiency and overall business performance.
Hardy OSS provides the Operational Support System tools and associated services that enable MBNL to provide Infrastructure Management Services to their shareholders. The Hardy OSS contract is delivered as a managed service by a strategic IT services partner. Reporting into the Senior Manager, IT Service Delivery, this role provides oversight and assurance of the services delivered by the IT Services Partner covering:
* Delivery of systems and tools enhancements
* Management of programme financials and related governance
* Management of strategic partners for ongoing evolution of MBNL’s strategic systems and services.
* Supporting the digital transformation of MBNL IT via strategic service partners.
What you will do:
* Additional Service Order lifecycle management support for Hardy OSS to include tracking the agreed deliverables for Additional Service Orders & assuring the ASO delivery process
* E2E financial Management for the Enterprise IT domain including Budget / Forecasts / Re-forecasts; OIF / Project Board management; Purchase Order management; Invoicing / GRN management
* Maintain/Enhance Service: Assurance Management covering Technical (assure and validate supplier delivery) & Performance (drive the performance of the enhance service)
* Defect Management from Maintain/Enhance Programme - Track/address any defects that fall out of the Enhance programme
* Data Centre Decommissioning Assurance Management covering legacy OSS systems
* Initial delivery planning for SAM Systems & Data Workstream comprising Programme management for IT Delivery workstream as well as Dependency management
What we are looking for:
* An experienced leader, capable of directing and motivating teams and managing large, complex programmes.
* Substantial experience as a Programme/Delivery Manager, preferably within telecommunications.
* Experience of setting up and managing complex, large, multi-year outsourcing engagements.
* A proven track record of delivering IT projects to the complete satisfaction of stakeholders.
* Experience of working in both waterfall and agile delivery methods
* Excellent business and personal communication (verbal & written) and presentation skills.
Nice to have:
* Educated to degree level, or equivalent professional qualifications.
* Knowledge of mobile telecoms organisational hierarchy.
* Knowledge of the radio access network processes and best practice.
* Experience in working in a Joint Venture organisation.
* OSS and Network Management Tools experience in the mobile telecoms sector.
