About the Role:
Are you passionate about supporting young learners and making a difference in secondary education? We are seeking a Graduate Intervention Worker to join a dynamic secondary school in Southwest London.
This role is ideal for graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in education, working closely with students in small group settings to enhance their learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver targeted intervention sessions to small groups of students, focusing on academic and personal development.
* Support teachers in implementing effective learning strategies to improve student engagement and progress.
* Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and school staff.
* Assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Work collaboratively with school staff and external agencies to support student well-being.
Requirements:
* A graduate degree in English, Mathematics, Science, Education, Psychology, or a related field.
* Experience working with young people in an educational or mentoring capacity (preferred but not essential).
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A proactive and empathetic approach to student support.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
