Job Title: Sign Shop Manager
Location: Lympne
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 - DOE
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time
We are seeking a Sign Shop Manager to run our graphics and sign shop based in Lympne, Kent.
This role offers the perfect opportunity to blend leadership with hands-on design and production. You’ll lead a small creative team, shaping the visual identity of a growing business while delivering high-quality content ensuring creative outputs are on-brand, commercially driven and engaging.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
· Preparation of tenders and quotations.
· Preparation of designs.
· Site visits for planning works.
· Scheduling of work – liaising with the client/contractors.
· Preparation of accounts for invoicing.
· Control of office systems and files.
· Purchasing of all materials.
· Manage and mentor the team, providing guidance, feedback and support.
· Maintain high standards of quality across all projects.
· Carry out other reasonable duties within your capabilities as requested and instructed to meet the needs of the business.
Required Skills
· Good Communication Skills.
· Proven ability to lead bespoke projects and deliver work within brand guidelines.
· Design, layout and typography expertise
· Confident, Self-managing, able to work on own initiative.
· Good Attitude / Work Ethic / Team Player.
· Strong Attention to detail.
· Ability to lead by and set a good example.
· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills
· Commercial mindset
· Experience with Illustrator and CorelDRAW would be advantageous
