Family Solicitor or Legal Executive -Head of Family Law – Flexible Location & Hybrid Working (Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire)
£60,000 to £90,000

The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Family Law solicitor or legal executive to lead and grow an already successful team. You’ll manage your own caseload while also overseeing and developing the Family Law department, which currently has six fee earners across multiple offices.
You’ll be working on a range of private Family Law matters, including:
1. Divorce and financial settlements
2. Private child law cases (e.g., child arrangement orders)
3. Cohabitation disputes
4. Pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements
5. Domestic abuse matters
6. Mediation and dispute resolution
Key Responsibilities
7. Oversee the Family Law team across multiple offices
8. Support and mentor colleagues to help them develop
9. Play a key role in hiring new team members
10. Ensure excellent client service and a smooth-running department
11. Manage your own manageable caseload of family matters
12. Conduct supervision and technical reviews
13. Keep up to date with industry regulations and best practices
14. Handle high-risk cases and attend HOD compliance meetings
15. Build strong relationships with clients and generate new business
16. Work closely with the marketing team to promote Family Law services
17. Encourage cross-referrals between different legal departments

You
25. Years of experience in running your own caseload of private family law matters i.e. divorce, child act matters
26. Solicitor or Legal Executive with at least 4 years PQE
27. Managerial or supervisory experience preferred
28. Excellent orginisational skills
29. An empathetic manner and a keen eye for details
This role can be based at any of my client’s offices in Lincolnshire or Nottinghamshire, giving you flexibility in location
30. A hybrid working model is also available.
31. Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:15 PM (36.25 hours per week)
