TARCG are seeking experienced Sheet Metal Workers to join a leading UK Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) in Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity to work on the groundbreaking "Passenger to Freighter" project, transforming one of the largest passenger aircraft into a world-class air freighter.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform major structural repairs and modifications, including removal of major aircraft structural sections.
* Work to fine tolerances and maintain high standards in all tasks.
* Ensure high standards of housekeeping and safety are maintained.
* Adhere strictly to company and manufacturer procedures.
* Interpret and implement modifications from technical drawings and procedures.
Basic Requirements:
* Completed an aircraft engineering apprenticeship, in either a production or live aircraft environment.
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience with live aircraft and structures.
* Proven experience in aircraft modification/production environments.
* Strong proficiency in interpreting manufacturer drawings and Structural Repair Manuals (SRMs).
* Excellent hand skills and attention to detail.
* Eligible to work in the UK.
