A popular school located in Braintree is interested in securing a Psychology/Sociology teacher to join their team. This Ofsted Good, mixed secondary school is seeking a teacher of Psychology/Sociology on a full-time. The school is in Braintree which is walking distance to a range of transport links, shops and amenities.
ABOUT THE SCHOOL AND THE TEACHER ROLE:
A medium-size secondary school
To assist the Head of Department in ensuring that teaching in your subject is of high quality and contributes to the department’s improvement plan.
To participate in staff development activities provided within the department and whole school.
To deliver, as directed, syllabuses, resources, schemes of work, assessment and marking policies and teaching strategies so that student needs can be met.
To report student progress in your subject to the Head of Department and to parents/carers.
FOR THE RIGHT Psychology/Sociology TEACHER WILL BE:
Confident with teaching Psychology/Sociology to an A level standard
Creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box
Degree relating to Psychology/Sociology teacher
Teaching qualification
Eligibility to work in the UK
Be able to provide teaching references for the last 2 years
A fully enhanced DBS on the online update service
