What you'll be doing
In this role, you will take full accountability for project delivery, ensuring efficient planning, design, execution, and handover.
Initially, you will be responsible for setting up systems and controls in line with our Business Management System (BMS) and Health, Safety & Wellbeing (HS&W), Environmental, and Quality procedures.
As operations progress, you will lead a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring the project meets its objectives in terms of time, cost, quality, risk, and benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
* Establish and maintain project governance, ensuring compliance with company procedures
* Lead planning, execution, and handover processes, driving successful project completion
* Ensure zero-harm focus on health, safety, and environmental standards
* Develop high-performing teams, providing leadership, mentoring, and guidance
* Manage subcontractors and procurement processes to ensure project efficiency
* Control costs, monitor performance, and implement productivity techniques
* Lead risk and opportunity assessments, ensuring proactive issue resolution.
Who we're looking for
* Proven experience in project management and delivery preferably within the Energy sector.
* Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and manage diverse teams.
* Proficiency in contract management, commercial acumen, and cost control.
* Track record of implementing safe systems of work and driving continuous improvement.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Formal qualification (BSc/MSc) in management/construction or equivalent experience.
* APM PFQ/PMQ/PPQ, CSCS, SMSTS (or equivalent) qualifications are desirable.
