We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our dynamic team in the hospitality sector. Duties
* Assist the General Manager in daily operational tasks to ensure efficient running of the restaurant.
* Supervise and support kitchen staff, including cooks and bartenders, to maintain high culinary standards.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation.
* Train new staff members on operational procedures and hospitality standards.
* Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
* Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues to ensure guest satisfaction.
* Collaborate with the management team to develop strategies for improving service quality and operational efficiency.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of both front-of-house and back-of-house areas.
Experience
* Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a restaurant setting.
* Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary practices, and food safety regulations.
* Demonstrated ability to manage a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment.
* Experience in bartending or beverage service is advantageous but not essential.
* Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
* Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
